Job summary

Cape York Land Council is seeking a Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across its offices in Smithfield. This part-time role supports a safe, welcoming workplace for staff and visitors, following health and safety guidelines.

Hours are 7:30am–11:30am or 2:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Experience in office cleaning and strong organisational skills are essential for timely, independent work in a corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning or facilities support, preferably in corporate offices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, kitchens and facilities.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting bathrooms and surfaces.
• Restock supplies: soap, toilet paper and towels; manage waste disposal.
