Job summary

Little World Early Learning Centres – Worongary QLD is seeking a Diploma-qualified Nursery and Toddler Float Educator for a part-time role. You will support staff, provide care for infants and toddlers, and help deliver developmentally appropriate programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification suitable for childcare.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for Queensland.
• Experience with infants and toddlers in an early learning setting.
• Strong communication with children and families.
• Ability to work across nursery and toddler rooms and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to infants and toddlers, including nappies, feeding and rest time support.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences and play-based activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment with health and safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and communicate progress.
• Support room leaders and permanent staff across nursery and toddler rooms.
• Observe and document development to inform future programming.
• Ensure routines and practices are consistent across the centre.
