Job summary

Sports Entertainment Network's Sydney Sirens franchise seeks a Part Time Head of Performance and Strength & Conditioning on an initial 12-month contract. The role leads High-Performance Services for elite athletes across Super Netball and reserves.

You will design and deliver strength and conditioning programs, collaborate with coaches and medical staff, monitor loads and use data to inform practice. Travel and out-of-hours commitment may be required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Sport and Exercise Science is required.
• Experience working in elite or high-performance sport environments.
• Proven ability to develop and implement athlete performance programs.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to meet travel and out-of-hours requirements of elite sport.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the Club's High Performance Program, aligning Super Netball and Reserves.
• Design and deliver strength and conditioning programs to optimise athlete performance, development and recovery.
• Collaborate with coaches, medical staff and performance practitioners to support athlete growth and team success.
• Monitor athlete performance, training loads and use data-driven insights to inform program effectiveness.
• Lead and coordinate the performance services team across all disciplines.
• Attend training sessions, matches and key performance meetings to support athlete preparation and game-day performance.
• Build strong relationships with athletes, coaches and support staff to drive a high-performing culture.
