Job summary

Yarra Medical in Melbourne is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with general practice experience to join our busy clinic two days a week (Mondays and Fridays). The role includes immunisations, wound care, health assessments and care coordination, with the potential to increase hours as the practice grows.

You will work closely with GPs, nurses and reception staff, maintain accurate records, follow infection control practices, and use our practice software.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in general practice nursing.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfort with practice software and digital systems.
• Flexible and collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supporting GPs with treatment room procedures and patient care.
• Providing immunisations and other nursing services within scope of practice.
• Assisting with wound care, health assessments and chronic disease management.
• Supporting recalls, follow-up and care coordination.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and completing related administrative tasks.
• Following infection prevention, cold chain and workplace safety procedures.
• Keeping the treatment room organised, stocked and running smoothly.
• Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses and reception staff.
