University of Sydney seeks a casual Supervising Engineer for the Jacaranda Flame Consulting program at the Darlington Campus. You will act as a liaison between students, clients and the Faculty to ensure successful project delivery within 6–9 week cycles.

Experience in tertiary education environments and strong communication are essential. The role involves client engagement, student guidance, and administrative duties, with year-round opportunities.

Formación

• Engineering degree accredited by Engineers Australia (or WA equivalent).
• Experience in a tertiary environment with LMS knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Program Preparation: plan supervisor activities, review briefs, allocate groups, and coordinate client introductions.
• Program Delivery & Student Support: attend inductions, meetings, site visits; guide student groups in project management and client liaison.
• Monitor progress: track reflections and SparkPlus ratings; escalate issues to mentors as needed.
• Admin & Compliance: manage timesheets, records, and workplace etiquette; handle enquiries.
• Program Evaluation & Wrap-Up: conduct exit interviews, collect client feedback, and assist in debriefs to drive improvements.
