Job summary

HCF's Sydney CBD Dental Centre is seeking a skilled Dentist to deliver comprehensive clinical care to HCF members on a part-time basis (2–4 days per week). You will contribute to accessible, affordable, high-quality dental services for Australians.

Essential criteria include a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, current Australian general dentist registration, an EPA Radiation Licence, and the ability to work independently in a busy clinical surgery while meeting KPI targets and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (required)
• Current registration as a general dentist in Australia
• EPA Radiation Licence required
• Ability to work effectively, independently within a clinical surgery
• Strong awareness of clinical risk management and patient safety
• Willingness to work across multiple Dental Centres if needed
• Follow instructions from leadership (General Manager Dental, DCN Clinical Manager, Dentist in Charge, mentor)

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of dentistry and oral care to HCF members
• Meet KPI targets for productivity and clinical quality
• Maintain accurate patient clinical records
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies
• Promote preventive care and value of private health insurance
• Support leadership to represent HCF to regulators and associations
• Collaborate with staff to ensure coordinated patient care
