Job summary

Emporio Pharmacy in Maroochydore, Queensland is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a part-time role. You will dispense medications, offer professional advice, support stock and patient records, and collaborate with GPs to optimise patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, a Bachelor of Pharmacy, and significant community pharmacy experience, with strong communication and organisational skills. First Aid certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent recognised in Australia
• Experience as a Pharmacist in a community setting
• Strong knowledge of medications, interactions, and guidelines
• Excellent communication with patients and healthcare professionals
• Competency in dispensing systems and POS software
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Commitment to CPD and professional standards
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely, complying with regulations
• Provide professional advice on medication use, interactions and side effects
• Support pharmacy operations: stock control, ordering and inventory
• Maintain detailed patient records with confidentiality
• Collaborate with GPs and nurses to optimise outcomes
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and standards
• Support and supervise staff and trainees as required
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
