Job summary

HDE Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Technician to join our Brisbane Service team on a part-time basis (approximately 2 days per week). You will perform monthly service tasks under Service Maintenance Agreements, including Emergency Light testing, Test & Tag, and RCD testing, with potential after-hours work for load tests and generator servicing.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Queensland electrical licence.
• Extensive experience as a commercial electrician or electrical service technician.
• Ability to fault-find and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Experience on premium commercial properties or with Tier 1 clients.
• Professional communication with clients and site staff.
• Willingness to mentor/coach others and share knowledge.
• Current driver’s licence, White Card and CPR/LVR accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance across premium commercial properties.
• Communicate professionally with facility managers and Tier 1 clients.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to team development.
• Complete work in accordance with Australian Standards and client requirements.
