Job summary

Labourforce in Ruakura, Waikato is seeking on-call / part-time pick/packer staff for our client, a major retailer with a 50-year presence in Australia and New Zealand. You will start on a on-call basis, with opportunities to upskill into MHE and advance within the DC, while maintaining high attention to H&S practices.

Roles require reliability, timely availability on short notice, and a good work ethic. Inductions and training will be provided to successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, carry and place bulky products with correct H&S techniques.
• Physical role requiring stamina and manual handling.
• Willingness to upskill into machine operation (MHE) later in the DC.

Responsibilities

• Start off as on-call / part-time and support daily pick/pack tasks.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in stock handling.
• Opportunity to upskill into MHE operation and related roles.

About the role

This role may begin as oncall, if you are available at short notice and have your own reliable transport. we are seeking on call staff members for our AM and PM shift.

These roles will not last long, if you can ensure commitment, a can do attitude and reliability, you are exactly what we need!

This DC is not like other workplaces, the team get in there, get the job done and reap the rewards for their hard work.

You are paid for your time. Inductions will take place before you start, with proper training given to successful applicants to ensure you are well equipped for your role.

Yes you may come in as a pick packer, at first - However the right display of attitude and commitment, will provide you with opportunities of upskilling into machine operation (MHE) and maybe more.
