Job summary

BreastScreen Queensland offers a Breast Imaging Fellowship for a part-time 6-month training opportunity. The role provides exposure to mammographic screening, image-guided interventions and collaboration with the BSQ multidisciplinary team.

The Fellow will engage in evidence-based practice, clinical audits, teaching and research activities, while aligning with BreastScreen Queensland standards and host hospital values.

Qualifications

• Specialist training opportunity within BSQ service.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake breast imaging, mammographic screen reading and interventional services under supervision to support BSQ diagnostic clinics.
• Participate in clinico-pathology and MDT meetings, statewide screen reader education, clinical audits and risk management activities.
• Facilitate learning by sharing knowledge, teaching and supporting colleagues, and contributing to research activities.
