Hydro at Waverley in NSW is seeking an experienced physiotherapist for a part-time locum role at our private aquatic physiotherapy clinic located at the War Memorial Hospital in Waverley. The position involves directing clients through pool rehabilitation sessions, with most work out of the pool; CPR and First Aid qualifications are required or funded.

We offer a friendly environment with secretarial support and training in hydrotherapy if needed.

Formación

• 2+ years of physiotherapy experience, hydro experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid qualifications required or funded by us.
• Friendly with good rapport with a range of clients.
• Full physiotherapy qualifications, full indemnity insurance, and unrestricted APRHA registration.

Responsabilidades

• Direct clients through rehabilitation sessions in the pool.
• Assist clients in and out of the pool as required—prioritise safety of clients.
• Majority of work will be out of the pool with 1–2 hours a week in the water.
• Able to remain calm in emergencies and direct other staff in emergency procedures/ CPR training.
