About the role

As Parks Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping high‑quality, sustainable open spaces across the Inner West. Reporting to the Coordinator Parks Projects and working within Council’s Capital Works team, you’ll lead the delivery of parks, recreation and landscape capital works projects from concept through to completion.

You’ll work closely with consultants, contractors, internal stakeholders and the local community to deliver parks, sportsfields, gardens and open space upgrades that are functional, inclusive, climate‑responsive and well‑loved. From overseeing tender processes and supervising construction works on site to responding to community feedback and contributing to strategic improvements, this role offers a genuine end‑to‑end project lifecycle.

This position will suit a landscape architect, civil engineer or experienced capital works project manager who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and is motivated by delivering visible, lasting outcomes for the community.

Please note this is a temporary full-time position up to 12 months.
