Job summary

The City of Salisbury is seeking a motivated Feature Landscape Team Member to join the Parks and Landscape team within City Infrastructure. You will help maintain parks, reserves, and landscapes, working in a collaborative environment to keep spaces safe, attractive, and enjoyable for residents and visitors.

You will perform mowing, planting, pruning, litter removal, and track maintenance while operating landscape equipment and adhering to safety and traffic management requirements.

Qualifications

• Reliable and safety-focused team member with outdoor work enthusiasm.
• Experience operating landscape maintenance equipment.
• Ability to follow work programs and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general parks and landscape maintenance activities, including mowing and weed control.
• Carry out tree planting, watering and pruning activities.
• Assist with maintenance of tracks, reserves and landscaped areas.
• Operate plant, machinery and equipment safely, including ride-on mowers.
• Raise and report infrastructure defects identified during maintenance.
