Job summary

Green by Nature in Victoria is seeking a Mower Operator to perform routine maintenance across council parks, reserves and selected roadsides. You will work outdoors with attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.

The role requires operating and maintaining mower equipment, recording work accurately, and complying with safety practices. A valid C class manual licence, White Card, and willingness to obtain a National Police Check are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid C Class Manual Licence.
• Ride on Mower experience essential.
• Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment.
• Knowledge of herbicide applications and techniques.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and sun.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of Knox.
• Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed spraying.
• Safely operating and maintaining machinery.
• Ensuring all work is accurately recorded.
• Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery.
