Brimbank City Council is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Team Leader for Parks Amenity and Maintenance based at the Sunshine Operations Centre in Melbourne. You will lead the Parks Amenity and Maintenance team, ensuring timely and high-quality maintenance and strong customer service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling of maintenance programs, staff development and a focus on safety compliance. A HR driver licence is desirable and benefits include a 9-day fortnight and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and leading operational staff in a parks/open space setting.
• Strong knowledge of OHS requirements, SWMS, JSAs and safety audits.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and support to Parks Amenity and Maintenance staff.
• Plan, schedule and monitor annual, monthly and daily maintenance programs.
• Coordinate programmed and reactive works with available resources.
• Lead triage and scheduling of customer requests and engage with residents as needed.
• Support safety inspections of playgrounds and other facilities and action identified works.
• Contribute to contractor management, reporting and budget monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvement in work practices and service delivery.
