Job summary

St Monica's College in Cairns is seeking a Junior Science, Physics and Senior Mathematics Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term parental leave contract. You will plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs, align with school objectives and contribute to a supportive, Mercy-inspired environment.

Registration with QCT or eligibility is required; the role reports to the Principal or delegate.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers.
• Fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs.
• Contribute to development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning.
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.
• Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate.
