Job summary

Sidekicker is hiring Parcel Sorters for the seasonal peak at Australia's largest postal delivery network's Chullora facility. You'll sort parcels and mail, manually and with machine assistance, to keep deliveries moving through the busiest stretch of the year.

Paid induction is required; induction will be held on Monday October 19th. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, conveyor loading, and packing ULD cages, with emphasis on speed, accuracy and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to sort parcels with accuracy and speed.
• Capable of using RF scanners to track shipments.
• Willingness to comply with safety and site rules.

We're hiring Parcel Sorters for the seasonal peak at Australia's largest postal delivery network's Chullora facility. You'll be sorting parcels and mail, manually and with machine assistance, to keep deliveries moving through the busiest stretch of the year.

As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

(Paid) Induction:

INDUCTIONS WILL BE ON: Monday October 19th

You must be able to attend in order to work at this site.

WHAT WILL THE ROLE ENTAIL:

• Manual sorting of parcels
• Loading parcels onto conveyers
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Packing ULD cages
• Use of a manual pallet jack and RF scanner

WHAT YOU'LL HAVE:

• PPE (hi-vis vest, steel-capped boots)
• A valid police check or willingness to complete a statutory declaration
• A quick learner who can maintain a high standard of work
• Strong memory recall and hand / eye coordination abilities
• A commitment to our clients Occupational Health and Safety standards
• Speed, accuracy, and commitment to meeting service standard deadlines in the preparation of parcels for dispatch and receipt.
