Job summary

Fuse Recruitment in Hawthorn, Melbourne is seeking an experienced Paraplanning Manager to lead the paraplanning function within a well-established financial planning business.

You will own paraplanning workflow, mentor an offshore paraplanning team, review Statements of Advice for quality, allocate work and provide technical guidance to advisers, driving process improvements and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' paraplanning experience.
• Management, team leadership or mentoring experience.
• Experience working with and managing an offshore paraplanning team.
• Strong technical knowledge across financial advice strategies and documentation.
• Excellent workflow and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and understanding of advice quality and compliance.

Paraplanning Manager

Hawthorn, Melbourne | Permanent | $120k–$130k Package

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Paraplanner/Paraplanning Manager to step into a leadership-focused role within an established financial planning business.

This position will see you take ownership of paraplanning workflow across the wider advice team while providing leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to an offshore paraplanning team.

The Role

• Managing and coordinating paraplanning workflow across the advice team
• Mentoring, developing and supporting the offshore paraplanning team
• Reviewing Statements of Advice and other advice documentation to ensure quality and accuracy
• Allocating work and managing priorities, deadlines and service standards
• Providing technical guidance on complex advice strategies
• Acting as the key link between advisers and the offshore paraplanning function
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and quality across the paraplanning function
• Supporting the wider advice team to deliver a consistently high standard of client service

About You

• 7+ years' paraplanning experience within financial advice
• Previous management, team leadership or mentoring experience
• Demonstrated experience working with and managing an offshore paraplanning team
• Strong technical knowledge across financial advice strategies and documentation
• Excellent workflow and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and a strong understanding of advice quality and complianceThe confidence to mentor others and work closely with experienced Financial Advisers
