Job summary

UniSC Sunshine Coast is seeking a Lecturer in Paramedicine to deliver contemporary teaching across the Bachelor of Paramedicine, including classroom, simulation, practical and online settings. You will develop curricula, assessments and learning activities that connect academic learning with modern paramedic practice while enabling students to become job-ready professionals.

You will also support work-integrated learning through regional experiences and collaborate on scholarship and research

Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant degree, postgraduate qualifications as well as registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia.
• Ability to connect academic learning with authentic paramedic practice and contemporary teaching methods.
• Experience developing and delivering higher education curricula and contributing to teaching enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, contemporary teaching across the Bachelor of Paramedicine, including classroom, simulation, practical and online environments.
• Develop curricula, assessment and learning activities aligning with current paramedic practice.
• Contribute to work-integrated learning opportunities, including regional and rural experiences with industry partners.
• Contribute to scholarship, research and academic activities to support student success.
