Preston Toyota, part of Eagers Automotive, is seeking an experienced Body Shop Assembler / Panel Beater for their Collision Repair Centre in Melbourne. You will disassemble and reassemble vehicles, repair or replace panels, align trims, and collaborate with estimators and painters to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.

The ideal candidate has panel beating or vehicle assembly background, trade qualifications in automotive body repair, and a proven eye for quality in a fast-paced shop

Formación

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Vehicle Assembler, or in a collision repair environment.
• Trade qualifications in Automotive Body Repair Technology highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• A positive attitude and team-focused approach.
• Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly for repair processes.
• Panel repairs and replacement of damaged vehicle components.
• Aligning and fitting panels, trims, mouldings, and accessories.
• Assessing repair requirements and identifying additional damage.
• Working closely with Estimators, Spray Painters, and other repair technicians.
• Conducting quality control checks throughout the repair process.
• Maintaining accurate repair documentation.
• Ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
