A&L Smash Repairs in Mackay, QLD, is seeking a skilled Trade Qualified Panel Beater to join a well-established collision repair team. You will restore damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition, fabricate and reshaping panels, and ensure high-quality workmanship.

• Trade qualification required as a Panel Beater.
• Minimum 5 years experience in automotive repair.
• Knowledge of modern panel beating techniques and materials.

Responsabilidades

Salary: $79,999 – $85,000 per year

About the Role

As a Panel Beater, you will play a key role in restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. You'll be responsible for repairing and reshaping damaged panels, restoring structural integrity, and ensuring every repair meets the highest quality standards.

You'll work closely with our estimators, painters, and technicians while also providing guidance and support to apprentices to help develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Remove dents, scratches, and other panel damage.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

4. Experience using hand and power tools, including welding equipment, grinders, and repair tools.
5. Ability to interpret repair methods and technical specifications.
6. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and a positive team attitude.
8. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
9. A current and valid driver's licence.
