Livingin Australia is seeking a Palliative Care Physician for the Home‑Based Palliative Care Service in Metropolitan ACT. This role involves working alongside specialized nurses and providing remote support for patients in a 20-bed inpatient palliative care unit.

The ideal candidate will have completed DHR training and be registered with AHPRA. This position offers an hourly rate of AUD 160, with additional pay for on-call days. Travel and accommodation are provided.

Palliative Care Physician – Registrar/PHO (Palliative Care Medicine)

Location: Metropolitan ACT Hospital

Contract dates: 02 June 2026 to 14 June 2026, and 20 July 2026 to 26 July 2026.

Hourly rate: AUD 160. On‑call days: additional AUD 160 per day.

Requirements: Completed DHR training in advance; registered with AHPRA; right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Primarily work in the Home‑Based Palliative Care Service alongside specialist nurses, a nurse practitioner and a palliative care specialist.
• Provide on‑call remote telephone support and remote charting for patients in the 20‑bed inpatient palliative care unit. Specialist support is available during all on‑call periods.
• Travel and accommodation provided.
