Job summary

AR Developments is seeking an experienced, trade-qualified Painter to join our in-house team for long-term townhouse projects across Southeast Queensland. Working with the Painting Foreman and construction crew, you will deliver high-quality finishes and ensure safety on site.

You’ll prepare surfaces, read plans, and apply coatings to walls, ceilings, doors, frames, and other elements across multiple stages.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating is required.
• Experience in residential or multi-residential construction.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Current White Card and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external painting across construction stages.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, filling, cleaning and priming.
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trims, cladding and other building elements.
• Read and interpret plans, paint schedules and specifications.
• Maintain high-quality finishes and workmanship.
• Complete repairs and defect rectification as needed.
• Adhere to site safety requirements and keep area clean.
• Collaborate with supervisors, trades and subcontractors.

AR Developments is a growing residential construction company delivering large-scale townhouse developments across Southeast Queensland. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, trade-qualified Painter to join our in-house team.

Working closely with our Painting Foreman and wider construction team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality finishes across our townhouse projects. Key Responsibilities

• Complete internal and external painting works across all stages of construction
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, patching, filling, cleaning and priming
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, frames, trims, cladding, soffits, steelwork, decking and other building elements
• Read and interpret plans, paint schedules and specifications
• Maintain exceptional workmanship and quality finishes
• Complete repairs and defect rectification as required
• Adhere to site safety requirements and maintain a clean work area
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades and subcontractors

About You

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
• Experience in residential or multi-residential construction
• Strong knowledge of painting methods, products and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Current White Card
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach
