Job summary

Sydney Tools Pty Ltd's construction arm is seeking an experienced Painter for commercial, refurbishment and fit-out projects around Cranbourne and surrounding areas. You will work as an independent contractor with your own ABN, deliver quality finishes and take pride in workmanship.

This role offers an immediate start, competitive contractor rates based on experience and the potential for ongoing subcontracting across future projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial or residential painting.
• Own ABN and appropriate contractor insurances.
• Own tools and reliable transport.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal and external painting works across commercial sites.
• Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling, patching and priming.
• Apply paints, coatings and finishes to a high standard.
• Undertake touch-ups, repairs and final finishing works.
• Work alongside site supervisors and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Complete allocated works within agreed project timeframes.

About the Opportunity

The construction arm of Sydney Tools is seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to assist with commercial construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects around Cranbourne and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson operating under their own ABN who can work independently, deliver quality finishes and take pride in their workmanship.
