Job summary

Inspirations Paint Nerang is seeking a part-time Trade/Retail Specialist sales assistant to join our store team in Nerang, Queensland. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience to both retail and trade customers, including tinting and paint knowledge.

You will work 6:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and rotating Saturdays, with ongoing training, a competitive wage plus Super, uniform and safety shoes, and access to DuluxGroup benefits.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with key customers through providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers

• Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising

The Inspirations Paint Nerang (company) Store is looking for enthusiastic Trade/Retail Specialist sales assistants for part time positions. As part of the DuluxGroup, a leading marketer and manufacturer of premium branded products, Inspirations Paint employees are part of Australia's largest network of paint stores, serving both retail (DIY) and trade (professional/commercial) markets.

The successful applicant would ideally have a background in retail sales, paint knowledge or relevant personal experience in home improvement projects and be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.

The current positionis available for immediate startfor an enthusiastic and motivated individualseeking an opportunity to develop their career in a supportive work environment. Experience / Attributes

• Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus
• Well presented both in appearance and communication
• Able to contribute and work in a team environment
• Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products an advantage
• Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints
• Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems
• Honest, reliable and punctual
• This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs
