The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and adherence to Australian electrical standards while supporting senior engineers on practical projects and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and theories.
• Experience with circuit design and analysis tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB; familiarity with Python or C++ is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage time.

Responsabilités

• Assist estimating team with cost estimates for switchboard projects.
• Support design and drafting of electrical circuits and switchboard layouts using CAD.
• Test electrical systems and document results for QA compliance.
• Contribute to product development and prototype testing.
• Assist with assembly and wiring per design specifications.
• Help ensure compliance with Australian standards such as AS/NZS 61439.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical support.
• Maintain technical documentation and project updates.
• Support R&D by researching new technologies and sustainability initiatives.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers to prepare technical documents.
• Aid project management tasks including scheduling and procurement.
