Job summary

Hall & Wilcox is inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law students to apply for the First Nations Pathway Program. This four-week, paid placement offers tailored learning and a realistic insight into life at Hall & Wilcox across Australian offices, with support and feedback throughout.

The program runs in June 2027 or November 2027 and is designed to kickstart a legal career in a diverse, inclusive environment with breakfast and social events to foster community.

Qualifications

• Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
• Be a permanent resident of Australia.
• Be currently studying a law degree and in at least your second year.
• Be motivated and eager to continually learn and develop; and
• Have a passion and drive for a career in law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a tailored program providing understanding of who Hall & Wilcox are, the clients, the work and how we do it.
• Be exposed to a broad range of work with regular feedback during the program.
