Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health in Gippsland is seeking a dedicated Paediatrician to join our Medical Services Team on a part‑time or full‑time basis. The role delivers comprehensive paediatric services, including routine and emergency neonatal care, and provides specialist consultative support to senior medical and emergency department staff.

• Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a specialist paediatrician.
• Demonstrable interpersonal and negotiation skills at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Providing a comprehensive range of neonatal, perinatal and paediatric services in the Women’s and Children’s Unit.
• Being available for on-call services for paediatric and neonatal resuscitation, as well as being available to advise junior medical staff or attend for direct patient care.
• Providing paediatric outpatient services in general paediatrics and a subspecialist area where appropriately credentialed.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision/teaching for junior medical staff, and other clinical staff.
