Job summary

Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term Grade 1 New Graduate in Speech Pathology. You will assess and treat paediatric inpatients and outpatients with communication disorders, across varied clinical areas, with 12 months of training and supervision.

You will gain exposure to diverse paediatric conditions, develop evidence-based practice, and build strong team collaboration and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Eligibility for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia
• Meet the requirements of the Speech Pathology Australia Professional Self-Regulation program
• Upholds the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Conduct

Responsibilities

• You’ll provide high-quality clinical speech pathology services to in/outpatients at RCH
• You’ll demonstrate evidence-based practise and a commitment to staying up-to-date
• You’ll work effectively and flexibly within teams demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills
• You’ll prepare timely, well written reports/documentation and provide effective verbal feedback to referrers, patients, families, and teams
• You’ll always act in a professional and ethical manner

Education
