Job summary

Mediix Recruitment is partnering with a warm, family-focused paediatric practice in Perth looking to welcome another Speech Pathologist to their clinical team. The practice has a strong reputation among local paediatricians, GPs and schools, and offers the kind of setting where clinicians can do genuinely good work without the pressure of a corporate-scale caseload.

You’ll work primarily with children from early intervention through to upper primary, with scope to take on adolescent clients

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Speech Pathology.
• Eligible for CPSP with SPA.
• Strong paediatric placement experience or related paediatric exposure.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive paediatric assessments and formulate clinical impressions.
• Develop individualised, family-centred therapy plans grounded in current evidence.
• Deliver 1:1 sessions in clinic, with community and school visits where appropriate.
• Partner with parents and carers through coaching and home-programming.
• Liaise with paediatricians, teachers, OTs and psychologists involved in shared care.
• Complete NDIS reporting, progress reviews and clinical documentation.
