Job summary

Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth Vale, SA, is seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join the paediatric team for a fixed-term period. Your role will focus on delivering evidence-based paediatric OT assessments and interventions across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support families, and contribute to clinical education. Registration with the Australian Board is required, and the position is based in a large public health

Qualifications

• Must be registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
• Paediatric OT experience and capability to deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving public hospital environment with diverse caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based OT assessment and intervention for paediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings at Lyell McEwin Health Service.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Engage with children, families and carers to support functional goals across developmental, sensory and participation domains.
• Contribute to service improvement, student supervision and clinical education within NALHN.
