Job summary

Necessity Kids is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to support children across clinic, school and community settings in Dapto. The role focuses on independence, participation, and confidence in daily living through evidence-informed therapy.

Ideal candidates have OT qualification, AHPRA registration, WWC, and Police Check, plus excellent communication and collaborative skills with families and educators. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Working with Children Check and National Police Check are required.
• Driver's licence is essential and strong communication is sought.
• Family-centred, evidence-informed practice is valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments and intervention for children and youth.
• Support fine and gross motor development and sensory regulation.
• Promote self-care, daily living, play and social participation.
• Facilitate school participation and functional skills with families.
• Prepare progress and NDIS reports; collaborate with the MDT.

You'll have the opportunity to work across clinic, local schools and community settings, providing therapy where it can make a meaningful difference.
