Job summary

Optimum Movement in Cleveland is seeking a paediatric occupational therapist to join a supportive, experienced team. You'll work across birth to young adulthood in a clinic setting, with opportunities to deliver services at schools and homes, using goal-directed CO-OP approaches.

The role offers part-time or full-time hours, a generous salary range of 85,000–110,000 AUD plus super and a dedicated PD allowance, with ongoing supervision and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years paediatric OT experience preferred.
• Full AHPRA registration.
• Track record of pursuing evidence-based professional development.
• Confidence with goal-setting tools and outcome measures, including COPM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and a great work ethic.
• Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for team learning.
• Driver's licence and car.

Responsibilities

• Treat clients from birth to young adulthood across cerebral palsy, ABI, ADHD, ASD, Down Syndrome, learning difficulties, DCD and sensory processing difficulties.
• Deliver therapy in clinic, school, and home settings.
• Work in a goal-directed, evidence-based approach heavily CO-OP influenced.

About the role

You’ll work with clients from birth to young adulthood, across a broad range of presentations including cerebral palsy, ABI, ADHD, ASD, Down Syndrome, learning difficulties, global developmental delay, DCD and sensory processing difficulties. Therapy happens in the clinic, at school, and in the home — wherever it works best for the client. Our approach is goal-directed, evidence-based, and heavily CO-OP influenced.

What you'll need

• A genuine passion for paediatrics, with 2+ years' paediatric OT experience preferred. Excellent new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
