Northern Health in Melbourne's rapidly growing northern suburbs invites applications for a Paediatric Emergency Registrar. The role offers exposure to a wide range of paediatric presentations and is supported by Paediatric Emergency Physicians in a non-tertiary centre.

The department provides an accredited PEM training program with 5 hours of protected teaching per week, a PEM DEMT and RACP supervision, and opportunities for quality improvement and research.

Qualifications

• ACEM PEM training opportunities may be available
• PAED Paediatric Emergency Registrar role with broad exposure
• Support from Paediatric Emergency Physicians and PEM DEMT supervision

Responsibilities

• You will experience a wide range of interesting and varied paediatric pathology.
• You will be well supported by Paediatric Emergency Physicians.
• Comprehensive Paediatric Emergency Education Program with 5 hours of protected teaching per week.
• Active Paediatric Emergency simulation programme to develop leadership and management skills.
• Involvement in quality improvement and research projects.
