Institute for Urban Indigenous Health is seeking a Paediatric Coordinator to oversee care for children under 8 (extending to 16) and their families, combining coordination with direct clinical care, primarily located in Waterford West.
You will manage referrals to paediatric services, assess needs, coordinate care across the engagement with paediatricians, and liaise with stakeholders to arrange case conferences and link services.
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Regional and Specialist team includes Integrated Specialist Services, Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, Primary Healthcare Services, Birthing and Early Childhood Services (South), and Child and Youth Services. As Paediatric Coordinator, your role is coordinate the care for children (under the age of 8 years predominately but extending to 16 where necessary) and their families. The role will entail both coordination as well as direct clinical care. This role will be primarily located in Waterford West.
