Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home, part of Acacium Group, is recruiting a Paediatric Clinical Lead to manage a caseload of paediatric packages across Leeds on a permanent, full-time basis with on-call rotation.

The role is field-based with frequent travel and requires strong leadership, clinical governance, and the ability to develop individualised care plans with families and healthcare professionals. You’ll mentor staff and drive high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Paediatric nursing degree with active NMC pin.
• Experience in complex or critical care is desirable.
• Experience leading clinical teams in a community/field setting.
• Ability to manage paediatric packages and develop care plans with families.

Responsibilities

• Undertake holistic nursing assessments with client and family.
• Develop personalised care plans in partnership with client, family, and professionals.
• Identify and manage risks, lead investigations and ensure documentation.
• Provide clinical training, mentorship and supervision to staff.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments in partnership with the client, their family and the care team.
• Develop individualised care plans in partnership with the client, their family and other healthcare professionals. Effectivelycommunicate with staff on the clinical condition/diagnosis and treatment/discharge plans of clients and ensure accurate records are maintained by staff.
• Identify and manage risks as part of care provision and lead the investigation and resolution of clinical incidents, ensuring timely and thorough documentation.
• Support staff by delivering client-specific clinical training, mentorship and supervision by providing feedback,conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.

• Experience in complex or critical care with competencies in tracheostomy and ventilation
• Experience managing clinical teams
• Experience in a community setting
