Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is seeking a Clinical Nurse (Education) to lead PACU education and staff development within a dynamic multidisciplinary team. This permanent part-time role (36 hours per fortnight)focuses on teaching, assessment, and ongoing professional growth to ensure evidence-based care.

The Education Team collaborates across Perioperative Services to deliver high-quality training, including events and activities that promote clinical excellence and staff development

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in PACU.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinically based education role.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current or in progress).
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical specialty (desirable).
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical teaching (desirable).
• Current Advanced Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education and training within PACU.
• Collaborate with perioperative and procedural education teams.
• Assess clinical skills and support education events across the hospital.
