Job summary

A leading cotton ginning operation in Australia seeks a Packing and Warehouse Manager to oversee operations in a modern facility. This full-time role involves managing the storage and dispatch of cotton while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and warehousing, along with relevant accreditations. Qualifications

• Experience in managing warehouse operations including receival, storage, handling and dispatch.
• Ability to perform fumigation and treatment activities in compliance with DAFF requirements.
• Capacity to maintain compliance, records and accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehousing, storage and dispatch of cotton lint, seed and grain.
• Maintain DAFF accreditations and perform hands-on fumigation activities.
• Act as primary onsite liaison for compliance.

Skills

Experience in warehousing, logistics or commodity handling

Understanding of biosecurity and regulatory compliance

Strong organisational and communication skills

Forklift licence

Driver's licence

Education

DAFF Authorised Officer accreditation (or ability to obtain)

Fumigation accreditation/licence (or ability to obtain)
