Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking an SAP BW/4HANA Specialist to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise data warehousing and reporting solutions. The role combines hands-on SAP BW/4HANA, HANA data modeling, ETL, and analytics with a client-facing lead position, guiding a diverse team of 19 and collaborating with S/4HANA, Finance, HR, and more.

A focus on migrations, SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, and ABAP debugging is preferred, with opportunities to shape strategic data initiatives

• Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA data models, data flows, and reporting solutions.
• Build and enhance BW/4HANA objects including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, InfoObjects, and Queries.
• Develop and manage ETL processes using SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Design and optimize SAP HANA artifacts including Calculation Views, Table Functions, CDS Views, and SQL-based solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of data quality and performance issues.
• Support production environments by monitoring data loads and implementing fixes.
• Participate in migrations and transformation initiatives including BW to BW/4HANA migrations.
• Develop technical specifications, solution designs, and supporting documentation.

About the role:

Acting as SAP BW/4HANA Specialist to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise data warehousing and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics solutions, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable and high-performing data solutions.

Performing dual role, along with SAP BW/4HANA, managing a team diverse team of 19 members with different skillsets. Acting as SAP lead at client facing role.

Packaged App Development Assoc Manager undertake following:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA data models, data flows, and reporting solutions.
• Build and enhance BW/4HANA objects including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, InfoObjects, and Queries.
• Develop and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Design and optimize SAP HANA artifacts including Calculation Views, Table Functions, CDS Views, and SQL-based solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions that support strategic decision-making.
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of data quality and performance issues.
• Support production environments by monitoring data loads, resolving incidents, and implementing permanent fixes.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives, including SAP BW to BW/4HANA migrations.
• Develop technical specifications, solution designs, and support documentation.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and development best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including SAP S/4HANA, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and external integration teams.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, or SAP BusinessObjects.
• Experience leading BW/4HANA migration or transformation projects.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging and enhancement techniques.
• SAP BW/4HANA or SAP HANA certification.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data models and extraction mechanisms.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of BW/HANA solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
