Job summary

Geelong Express Pty Ltd, part of the Jet Couriers Group, is expanding its fleet and seeking reliable sub-contractors for busy ADHOC work between Geelong and Melbourne. No start-up costs and immediate start for successful applicants, with fuel levies paid to sub-contractors.

Applicants must own or be willing to purchase a late model white van (1–2 tonnes), have a current Australian driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance, a valid ABN, and full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Friendly attitude and clear communication skills.
• Current valid Australian driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
• Full working rights in Australia (citizen, permanent resident or valid visa).
• Own or be willing to purchase a late model white van (1–2 tonne).
• Smartphone and Australian Business Number (ABN) required.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport and deliver items efficiently.
• Operate as a sub-contractor for ad-hoc deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle condition and comply with safety requirements.
