Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Australian kitchens are seeking an Overnight Crew member for 10pm–6am shifts in Sydney. You’ll greet customers, take orders, roll burritos, restock, prep food, wipe tables and learn other roles across the team.

Experience helps but isn’t essential; a positive “can do” attitude and reliability are key. Benefits include free uniform, team activities, discounted meals and cultural celebrations.

Qualifications

• Completion or willingness to complete Responsible Service of Alcohol course.
• Experience in a guest service role or food preparation role (highly desirable).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Personable and approachable disposition.
• Financial acumen and numeracy for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations and service, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Coach and develop your brigade, with clear expectations and regular feedback.
• Contribute to menu development, with a focus on flavour, seasonality and produce.
• Manage food and labour costs, rostering, ordering and stock control.
• Work closely with restaurant management and our senior kitchen team.
• Maintain food safety standards and an organised, well‑run kitchen.
