Job summary

Camp Australia in Mulgrave, VIC is looking for Educators to join our before school, after school and holiday programs. You’ll help children grow, learn and have fun while delivering safe, engaging activities and building strong relationships with families and the school community.

Availability is 6:30 am–9:00 am and 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We offer development opportunities, on-the-job training, and support for Diploma studies, with emphasis on child safety and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Diploma in childcare or equivalent or actively studying.
• Working with Children Check required or willing to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training required or willing to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certs or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work 6:30am–9:00am and 2:30pm–6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program.
• Take part in daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Prepare and serve snacks, and build relationships with children, families and the school community.
• Assist with daily communication and involvement with families and school staff.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Child Protection Early Childhood Learning Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
