Job summary

Camp Australia in Mackay is seeking an Outside School Hours Care Educator to join our team. You’ll support before school, after school, and holiday programs, helping children grow, learn and build lasting memories.

You’ll create a safe, engaging, and compliant program, prepare snacks, and build strong relationships with children, families and the local school community. A Diploma or ongoing study, and valid Blue Card, First Aid and safety training are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Energetic and engaging approach to childcare.
• Willingness to study or have completed a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• Valid National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability 6:30 am–9:00 am and 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Take part in daily activities for before/after school and holiday care.
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
