Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two full-time Healthcare Assistants for Outpatients. The roles involve rotating across all specialties in Outpatients, assisting with patient care, and integrating into a multidisciplinary team. Training will be provided for applicants without prior experience.

Locations include the Trust’s facilities, with support to deliver high standards of basic patient care and to help patients maintain dignity and comfort during their stay.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatients is desirable; however applicants with no experience will be considered and full training will be provided.
• Role involves rotating across all specialties in Outpatients.
• Support to integrate into the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in meeting hygiene needs and personal care.
• Assist with toileting and continence management.
• Measure and report fluid intake/output.
• Assist in preparing and serving meals, drinks and snacks.
• Assist in mobility and safe handling per care plans.
• Escort patients to clinical departments within the hospital.
