Job summary

Lake Dewar Discovery Camp is seeking a Program Officer to deliver engaging outdoor programs for visiting schools and community groups. You will create a safe, structured environment that balances fun with meaningful learning outcomes.

Collaborating with teachers and group leaders, you will lead activities, manage equipment, and contribute to program development and evaluation while upholding Y Victoria values. This casual role offers flexible rostering and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering outdoor recreation programs involving young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outdoor programs and activities for visiting schools and community groups, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Liaise with teachers and group leaders to understand goals and ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
• Assist in preparation, implementation and evaluation of diverse programs tailored to different groups.
• Maintain program equipment to ensure safety and readiness for the next activity.
• Uphold the values of the Y Victoria in every interaction.
