Job summary

TAFE Queensland is seeking dynamic Educators to teach and lead hands-on outdoor leadership programs. You will mentor learners and deliver industry-relevant VET training through practical expeditions, safety practices and contemporary teaching methods.

The role requires current industry skills, suitable qualifications and a commitment to professional development in vocational education and training. This talent pool may be open for up to one month for part-time opportunities as they arise.

Qualifications

• Must hold relevant vocational competencies and qualifications to deliver the specified training.
• Possession of one of the listed TAE qualifications or their successors.
• Current industry skills and knowledge relevant to training and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Teach, mentor and inspire learners in outdoor leadership through hands-on expeditions.
• Deliver quality learning services and assessment in line with VET practices.
• Maintain currency with industry standards and contribute to program development.
