Job summary

Green by Nature in Adelaide is seeking a grounds person to support garden maintenance, including hedging, planting, pruning and mulching. The role is hands-on and outdoors, requiring stamina and a keen eye for detail.

You will operate hand tools and petrol gear safely under guidance, load materials, and keep work areas tidy. A current driver's license and White Card/WWCC are required or you must be willing to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and commitment to high standards.
• Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or related field preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain White Card and Working with Children Check; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools and petrol gear safely under supervision.
• Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate automated line-marking machinery to mark lines according to plans and specs while maintaining safety and quality.
