Job summary

The City of Parramatta is seeking a Cleansing Services Officer to maintain and improve the cleanliness of the city’s public domain. This outdoor role requires self-management, physical capability, and commitment to safety standards.

Offering a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight, the position provides a starting salary from $68,446 plus 12% superannuation and an Adverse Working Conditions Allowance under the Local Government (State) Award 2026.

Qualifications

• Must have current NSW Driver Licence.
• Must have White Card.
• Experience in outdoor/operational roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify illegal dumps, litter picking, pressure washing and cleaning of amenities and BBQ areas.
• Undertake tasks to support cleansing services and maintain assets and facilities.
• Conduct inspections of public domain to minimise liability and ensure standards.
