Job summary

PCYC Capricorn Coast in Yeppoon seeks a Leadership Development Facilitator to deliver safety‑driven experiential learning and adventure‑based programs for young people. You will support program planning and logistics while fostering a welcoming, positive atmosphere that promotes belonging and growth within the community.

We value accreditation in outdoor recreation, group facilitation across ages, and a commitment to safeguarding. A current First Aid/CPR and Blue Card are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Experience in outdoor education and facilitating groups of varied ages toward program goals.
• Recognised industry accreditation across adventure activity disciplines.
• Drivers license and current First Aid/CPR (or ability to obtain).
• QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver safe experiential learning and adventure-based programs for young people.
• Assist with program planning and logistics as needed.
• Create a supportive, respectful and positive atmosphere for participants to foster belonging and growth.

Reporting to theCapricorn Coast Program Services Supervisor, you will lead anddeliver safe and effective experiential learning andadventure-based programs for young people. AboutYou

• Recognisedindustry accreditation and experience across various adventureactivity disciplines e.g. Certificate 3/4 in OutdoorRecreation, Vertical or Swift Water Rescue Accreditationetc.
• Experience inoutdoor education, with the ability to facilitate groups of avariety of ages, backgrounds and towards programgoals
• Drivers’License
• Hold a currentFirst Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
• QLD Working withChildren Check (Blue Card)
