Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity.
  • Experience with IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, and Australian Essential Eight.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, and HMI security.
  • Strong ability to manage risk, vulnerability assessments, and remediation tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain OT cybersecurity compliance processes aligned with IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, and Australian frameworks.
  • Conduct OT cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, threat modelling, and remediation tracking for industrial systems.
  • Review secure design and implementation of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, and secure remote access.
  • Coordinate governance, supplier compliance reviews, audits, FAT/SAT activities, incident response.
  • Create and maintain cybersecurity documentation including risk registers, asset inventories, and recovery procedures.

Role: OT Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist
Experience: 10+ Years
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain OT cybersecurity compliance processes aligned with IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, and Australian cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Conduct OT cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, threat modelling, and remediation tracking for industrial systems and connected equipment.
  • Review and support secure design and implementation of PLC, SCADA, HMI, industrial networks, remote access solutions, and OT infrastructure.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity governance, supplier compliance reviews, audits, FAT/SAT activities, incident response, and lifecycle security management across projects.
  • Create and maintain cybersecurity documentation including compliance reports, risk registers, asset inventories, network diagrams, hardening standards, and recovery procedures.
Skills Required
  • Strong hands-on experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, industrial automation, and industrial network security environments.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity standards and frameworks including IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, NIS2, and Australian Essential Eight.
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI platforms, industrial communication protocols, firewalls, VLANs, and secure remote access technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, penetration testing support, patch management, backup/recovery, and industrial system hardening.
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, technical documentation, communication, and risk management skills with experience working across engineering, IT, and operations teams.
